Poker tables
  • Hi All,

I was a member of the old 604 forum and I've been a member here for a little while reading up on the threads.  I'm a pretty minor player, I play very small stakes with friends and a little bit online.  I'm a break even player, it's a nice hobby of mine and I've been playing since the big poker boom in the early 2000's.  Anyways, I want to post some information about some poker tables that I've built.  I was trying to find some info about what kind of stuff can be posted and couldn't find anything, please let me know if this stuff shouldn't be posted.  I build custom poker tables from home, I advertise on craigslist and I've churned out a few nice tables over the last year.  I've got a bare bones website to show off my stuff as well as list prices for those who are interested.  I won't post it here, as I don't want this post to be seen as spam, but anyone who might be interested to see it can either search craigslist for "custom poker table" or pm me.  anyways, here's some of my tables:

And my feature table which I most recently finished:

  • Wicked man.  In the last photo, what's the extra piece leaning up against the closet doors?
  • Wow that hockey poker table is impressive! What would a table like that cost?

Also with your skills you should go after the customized beer pong table market as well...
  • yeah that extra piece used to be part of the table under the rail, i removed it and replaced it with some other hardware.  The customer had me rush the build at the last second so I cut that piece freehand, later on I had it replaced so that extra piece is now in the garbage.

thanks for the props guys, that hockey table was a lot of fun to build.  that table ran around the $3k mark, there were a lot of custom parts to it, the legs alone were $500.  i'm in the process of building a similar hockey themed table for someone else, but the table will be more in the shape of an actual hockey rink.

I would love to get into the beer pong market, as long as i'm not paid in beer :)
  • Very nice tables, I will most likely be ordering one soon, I also have 3 existing tables, just curious how much it would be for 3 rails for them, and possibly new felt on 2 of them, feel free to private message me or call me at 604-306-5920 (give me a day and I will have all measurements for you)
  • sure, i'll pm you the details, but i can do just the rails and felt, doesn't have to be the entire table.  i'm all about custom, even if it's just pieces :)
  • Just another table I finished some time ago, it appears to be most people's favorite.  56" round

  • i thought i'd add a few more pictures of recently finished tables

this table was built for someone in Calgary, he wanted his company logo on the felt, 46" diameter

also made a wood dining table top for the table to use when not playing poker

    here's a basic 56" round with a single pedestal

another hockey themed table, this time the guy wanted it to be in the shape of a hockey rink rather than oval or bean shaped like the other one.

  • sounds good, hopefully i didn't spoil the reveal of his table.  i haven't posted this table on the chiptalk forums because i know a number of people who know him are there
  • Amazing stuff man, love the hockey rink
