Went to Edgewater to play their 330 super saturday tourney and only 36 people showed up for it. I really liked the structure though 15000 in chips with 30 minute levels. Top four paid and I busted in 8th so 7hrs for nothing but it was fun none the less. Had one really lol hand early that I will share.
First level i raise in early position to 150 (blinds 25 50) and an older gentleman flats on the button. The flop comes out j j 9 which i bet two hundred. He then throws out four hundred and then says "oh i ment to call" I can tell he has a huge hand either a jack or 99 so i just call. The turn comes a 3 and i check he bets 600 and when I call he flips over his hand being a j. The dealer says it was an honest mistake so his hand is live. The river is a six and i quite quickly jam knowing i cant lose and he will have to call off 14 thousand into a pot of 2 thousand knowing i know his hand but he doesnt know mine. He does call rather quickly and when i show him a chop he said thats what i thought you would have lol.
Online I am trying to get back into the groove I lost a bit of interest after black friday but have recently started putting in some grind. Final tabled the big 55 on stars yesterday but am pretty disapointed with 7th when first was 18k.
Anyways good luck at the tables
