Cascades BB Jackpot
  • The BB at cascades is about 140K now. It hadn't went as of 4:00 this morning when I left. It gets real busy at night even during the week so make sure you call in and plan on waiting to get on a table if you go.

  • $145,000 On Friday morning. Up 5K in 2 days...
  • $155,000 Tuesday morning
  • If you head down u have to call in wait times are huge and $1-$3 and $2/$4 are running thro the nite games are around the clock.
  • $169K, good job long weekend...
  • $172 as of this morn, its so busy I called in and still had to wait 2 hours after i showed up
  • I pitty the fool who wants to play limit trying to hit the BB. I called in this morning 8am got on both lists, 1/3nl and 2/4 limit. I got there at 9, on a 1/3 table at 10:00. So 2 hour wait 8am on a weekday. I stayed on the 2/4 list, was offered a seat at 1:30 in the afternoon. 5.5 hour wait at 8am during the week, nuts.
  • The key is to start early.  I talked to 2 people at my 1/3 table this morning, one got there at 5:30am and the other got there at 6.  Pretty crazy.
  • $182, we should make a prop bet over under as to when it will hit. Maybe $267k over under -110. I will take $300 worth of ation on this just for shits and giggles
  • it gets hit under 267k

  • The bad beat was 230K this morning.

So I'm 1'm 11th on the 1/3 list and they open up a new table, I just
miss out. I'm first on the list for over an hour, 4 1/3 tables running
but no seats open in that time. Finally a seat opens, I grab my chips
and they seat me. I'm in the SB so I figure I'll go piss real quick. I
come back and Asian Lisa is sitting in my seat with the pit behind
her arguing., She says, I guess she just switched without waiting on pit.

"I'm taking this seat I wanted it". I'm
like wtf I'm already seated, the pit tells her she has to go back to her
other seat at the other table she can't switch without asking the pit. She argues saying she had first table
change, I haven't been dealt in yet blah blah blah. I tell the pit don't
worry about, someone has now taken her other seat.

About 3 minutes or two hands later the room errupts. Looks like her seat
at the other table she just left just won with quad kings against aces
full for the small share of 65K,  The pit
and myself have a good laugh together and now my day is made.
  • wow. sick beat.
  • LOL, karma in action.

  • $97,000 , gonna get big again soon.
  • I heard that the winner of the small pot was a guy named Steve, who plays a heck of a lot of live poker, and has won an amazing amount of bbjackpots.  Anyone able to confirm this?  Not that it will change my life or anything, just curious.
  • His name was Steve, older gentlemen in his 50's. He's a regular, plays both Boulevard and Cascades.
  • Ahh...different Steve.  Older fellow, with a mustache?  Short buys all the time?  Not my favorite player if that is him.  Good for the game though.
  • That's the guy.  Lisa did weasle $1200 out of him though.

BTW, the bad beat jackpot is now at $27k.  It got hit at 4am Tuesday morning on a 2/4 table.  :(
