  • Just in time for the poker fad!
  • Too bad they wont spread an omaha h/l game. That is the center of demographics, of all the old folks who use to play it at Montanas social club.
  • Anyone tried the poker room yet? I'm thinking about playing there Friday night...
  • Curious on feed back. Also says on website they will spread other games on demand....
  • I've bin there lots, really cut into the games at Cascades although on a hole the cascades 1-3nl game is still better during the day.
I had a meeting with Matt to set up the Omaha game, we decided it to be a $2-$2 $200-$500 buy in. It usually runs when I send out a mass text to get the game going. Matt the poker manager has been great to work with hew is very open and will listen to your comments and suggestions. Omaha game is very soft but action can be pretty tight or small as lots try to short stack in. Also it runs 9 handed max which is a lot better.

Tournies have been good, Saturdays run a decent buy in of $200+
There should be an Omaha tourney next month as well.

On a whole the room is by far the nicest in BC, shifty cell reception inside but I'm told they are working on it. Love that there is a bar inside the room and the food is really good and very well priced.

  • Good to see a PLO game, especially with the amount of folks there who play it. Would like a lo limit 4/8 limit Omaha hilo, for the pensioners. Around 30-40 regulars of that game live nearby,.
  • I went to the Fraser Downs poker room last night, and have to say I like it the best of all the current rooms. It is extremely spacious, no banging your neighbouring tables like Langley. They have 12 tables, but only 4 were going, a little slow for a Saturday, 2 tables of 1-3 NLH, 1 table of 2-4 LH, and 1 table of 2-2 PLO. I chose the 1-3 NLH, and got stuck a fair bit on this aggressive table, before winning it back plus a $200 profit.
