I'm playing the TCOOP $700 main event but it's way out of my bankroll. My brother and a few friends will buy a little action and I'm just wondering if anybody wants to buy a piece of me from here, I'll sell it at par $7 per %.
I'm rickyt88 on pokerstars as well my pic is someone's inner lip tattoo.
Sounds good I'll update the OP. I might play this regardless of how much I get staked. I've had a good past month grinding turbos and this TCOOP series is gonna be awesome.
K sweet I'll start selling and I'll be playing for sure.
I think the ideal satelite for me is the $8, 2-X turbo rebuy satelite. It's running twice a day at random times in the day. I'll try to play a few of these. I'm in one right now I think there will end up being 3-4 seats with 100 entrants and maybe 80 staying till the end of the rebuy period.
My guess was sorta close but it's even better there were 93 entrants, only 59 stayed till the end of the rebuy and there are 4 seats plus $240 to 5th and 6th and $40 to 7th. 4 of the people that stayed till the end didn't add-on which is weird since the add-on is 10,000 for $8 and each rebuy is $2000 for $8.
ugh I came 9th in my first attempt KQs<55 BVB vs the chip leader was my last hand I was 4/9 but everyones stacks were pretty close. I think a fold might've been okay even though the chip leader was being very aggressive.

That would've been sweet to satelite in, I think I should nit it up a bit in that situation but I dont know there are small enough stacks for it to matter too much.
Btw with the above hand I posted I think I made a pretty bad mistake calling. Even if he is shoving 100% of all hands I should fold KQ and maybe only call JJ+ because of the payouts and remaining stacks in the satelite. Not sure if anybody agrees but I truly think I should've folded.
I'd like to show you some tv footage from November 2005, where a big hand developed, while I held KsQs. This hand essentially cost me $200k in real money, the difference between first and second place.....I agree with your comment above, because although this time you were a coin toss, most times you are behind.
Received Cheers, I'll check out that footage do you have it on the net or just at home?
I think KQs is a great hand but even if the SB is shoving 100% and he knows I have to call super tight it's still an unexploitable shove on the SB's part and I really do have to call super tight. I had check/call any checked without thinking about the stack sizes. If I were one of the smaller stacks or this weren't a satelite I'd call.
I built up a decent stack I played well not scared money or too nitty. Blinds went up rediculously fast. I'm okay minraising KJo on that hand posted and calling the short stack BB but I'd have a tough time folding to the SB so I think a shove is just better.
Here's a screen shot I think right before a table change:
